Tina Balavadze is the Learning Director at JSC Bank of Georgia, where she is responsible for the professional and personal development of employees. On mission to create better development opportunities, she is focused on transforming learning approaches and creating Learning platforms. Before joining the BoG team, Tina worked at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, where as a Project Coordinator she was responsible for the regional development of the South Caucasus. Her expertise and commitment to developing leadership learning programs has allowed her to initiate and implement several valuable projects in the region. With more than fifteen years experience developing various projects on performance improvement initiatives she gained large experience in training delivery, designing learning solutions, instructional design and feedback and evaluation systems for medium and large organizations. Tina holds an MA in European Studies from European University Viadrina.

I was born in 1984 Tbilisi, Georgia. I went to school “Balavari”, which was one of the best private schools in Tbilisi at that time. I was twice chosen as a President of this school. I also played basketball for the school team. Tbilisi state University was the place where I got my higher education. I got MBA at The University of Georgia. My first working experience was as data analyst in United Georgian Democrats (political party). Nowadays I work at The Bank of Georgia as a deputy head of Retail business banking department, with the experience of 13 years. From 2009 to 2012 I was managing partner of the consulting company Flow LLC.

An accomplished and highly resourceful banker and financier, having 16 years of hands on experience in mass market retail banking, financial markets, monetary policy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Currently, Director of Banking and Financial Markets at Reformatics, a government consulting boutique – advises Uzbekistan government in jumpstarting the banking sector. In the early days of his career, George joined the National Bank of Georgia (Central Bank), where he gradually climbed the hierarchy and became the Chief Dealer of the Bank managing the Foreign Exchange Reserves in excess of USD 1.5 billion. An effective strategist, George became the member of the International Reserves Management Committee and gained a seat at the Monetary Policy Commission table.

In 2008 George joined BNP Paribas Structured products sales in London as a member of the CEE and South Africa team, where he successfully generated new business for the bank, including the first issue of a structured deposit with Bank of Georgia. In 2009-2015, George (through initially being the Deputy CEO and in 2013 as the CEO) led the turnaround of Liberty Bank, the seventh largest bank that was literally bankrupt and under the central bank bailout. Through these years Liberty Bank has grown into the leading mass market retail bank with variety of unique distribution channels and with its growth far bypassing the Georgian banking sector growth, not to mention delivering the ROA of +20%.

Isabel Amorim began her career at Editora Abril in 1988 and since then has worked in major media companies. On 2016 joined Ed Abril to work on Digital area as a head of the division. In 2013, launched the digital version of the newspaper El Pais in Brazil, accumulating responsibility for the copyright area of the Prisa group. Previously, (2001 to 2013) she directed The New York Times Syndicate in Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a postgraduate degree in communication from the School of Communication and Arts at the University of São Paulo, and an MBA from Business School SP and Rothman School in Toronto. Graduate in 2013 by IE Madrid in Global Management. In June 2016 received a scholarship for the course taught by Stanford LAD and Insper on Public Policy and Democracy. On 2017 was accepted at a summer fellowship at CDDRL Stanford. Isabel is on the Board of the WAN-World Association of Newspaper, INMA International News Marketing Association until 2017, is also a member of the jury of the journalistic award offered by the Inter American Press Association since 2011. Married, has two children, and loves to run ultra marathons.

Lieutenant Colonel Beka Ambroladze, GEO. Army, hails from Kutaisi, Georgia. He graduated from St. Nino gymnasium (public school #3). He earned his commission as a lieutenant of Infantry Officer from the National Defense Academy of Georgia. For the first 2 years of his career, LTC Ambroladze was assigned to units in Internal Troops of Georgia in Tbilisi and Mukhrovani. LTC Ambroladze continued to serve in GEO armed forces in various assignments including planning officer in Battalion and General Staff level, Operations officer in Brigade and US Marine Corps 7th Regiment level, Instructor in Command and Staff College, commander at Infantry Battalion and Commander at Training Centre. He was deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan several times in support of operation Iraqi Freedom, ISAF and Resolute Support Mission. LTC Ambroladze Holds Masters degree in History from National Defense academy of Georgia. He is a graduate of Baltic Defense College and currently Studies at Tbilisi State University for his PhD in Mass communications. IC Ambroladze holds several award medals from Georgia, Czech Republic, United States of America and NATO. Lieutenant Colonel Ambroladze is married to Gvantsa and has two children.

I am a Head of the Unit for Effective Support of State Prosecution in Jury Trial Cases at the Office of the Chief Prosecutor of Georgia. This Unit supervises the investigations concerning jury trial cases across the whole Georgia and support state the prosecution at the court hearings. I have been working at the Prosecution Service of Georgia since 2008. I have examined cases involving various types of crime as well as jury trial cases and high-profile cases. Herewith, I am one of the press speakers of the Prosecution Service of Georgia. I am a member of the Georgian-Norwegian Rule of Law Association and the editor of the law journal created under the umbrella of the Association. In addition, I deliver lectures at Tbilisi State University as an invited lecturer.
