September 15th is an International Day of Democracy!
Due to political instability, COVID-19 pandemic, economic and social insecurity, and violent conflicts ravaging the world, the balance of international democracy is shrinking.
As a consequence of political choices and the rapid deterioration of rule of law, Georgia’s progress towards the improvement of the democratic trajectory has stagnated as well.
In order to address the challenges democracy faces today, liberty, equality, and justice should remain the core values of our society.
Today, as democracy is beleaguered, we believe it is not yet defeated!
September 15th represents an opportunity to review the state of democracy in the world, as well as in our country.
EPRC joins the celebration of the International Day of Democracy! And to celebrate this day, we encourage you to come to our office and get the latest edition of our journal – “The American Interest” and “The Journal of Frontline Democracy”, free of charge!
