On October 16-17, 2010, at the hotel “Ambasadori Kachreti” with the financial support of the UNDP project “Strong Parliament in a Consolidated Democracy” Economic Policy Research Center organized a working meeting with members of the parliament, representatives of Ministry of Finance, Chamber of Control and National Bank of Georgia.
Goal of the meeting was to discuss specific issues of the program budgeting, differences between traditional and program budgeting, analysis of roles of budgeting process participants and definition of mechanisms ensuring high index of budget transparency level.
Working meeting was leaded by project local experts – representatives of Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC).
