Project “Crossing the Border: Networking Armenian and Georgian Experts”

Within the Project “Crossing the Border: Networking Armenian and Georgian Experts”, four Armenian and four Georgian experts travelled, respectively, to Tbilisi and Yerevan, gathered research data, conducted interviews with representatives of the government, opposition, businesses, NGOs, think tanks and academia, and altogether prepared eight research papers on issues related to the neighboring country’s foreign policy, media, economy, public policy and civil society. The collection of these papers was published in Russian, with their executive summaries in English.

From the Georgian side, EPRC’s Program Manager Irina Guruli worked on the economic issue and prepared a report on the Pension Reform in Armenia – Opportunities and Challenges. Full report was published in Russian language The project was implemented during seven months in 2014 the financial support of the The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, A Project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
