On May 1, 2019, at 16:00 @ Rooms hotel Tbilisi the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in cooperation with the Enterprise Georgia Agency organizes an information meeting to announce the call for competition for business representatives in the frameworks of GEclose2EU project. Information on the criteria and terms of the competition, activities and grant component details will be provided.
As part of the event, a new web platform www.geclose2eu.info will be presented. The companies will register electronically to participate in the competition.
The companies, operating in the sectors of ICTs, business consulting and interior design-architecture and meet the prerequisites will be invited to participate in the competition. The Applications can be submitted online from 1st of May till 1st of June, 2019.
Opening remarks will be made by Molly Lien, Head of Development Cooperation of Embassy of Sweden; Nino Evgenidze, Director of Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) and Mikheil Khidureli, Director of “Produce in Georgia”.
The meeting will be attended by business and media representatives.
About the project
The project GEclose2EU started with the support of the government of Sweden. The project is implemented by the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in cooperation with the Agency “Enterprise Georgia”. The aim of the project is to support the small and medium businesses, increase their awareness regarding the European market and create new opportunities for internationalization. The total budget of the project is 2.3 million US dollars, the project will run for 3 years. The project is implemented from November 2018 till October 2021.
