Today, October 27, is the birthday of a committed friend of Georgia, Francis Fukuyama!
Francis Fukuyama is an American political scientist and philosopher. He is actively engaged in awareness-raising activities about the democratic values in Georgia.
He has been actively cooperating with EPRC for 7 years and often visits Georgia within the joint projects.
Together with Stanford’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL), EPRC founded the Leadership Academy for Development (LAD) in Georgia.
It has been three years since the EPRC, in collaboration with CDDRL, established Fukuyama Democracy Frontline Centre, the regional center named after Professor Fukuyama. The Centre brings together a wide range of political actors, human rights defenders, and a wide range of civic activists around the fundamental values of liberal international order, democracy, and the rule of law.
