Can Monetary Policy Revive Georgia\’s Economic Growth? A panel discussion took place yesterday October 30th at Ilia State University. Georgia’s economic growth appears to be declining in 2013, raising questions about how the government can reverse this trend. Monetary policy is one lever to stimulate growth, but what exactly should be done? What can Georgia learn from the experiences of other countries that have faced similar issues? Answers were given to these questions during the panel discussion with participation of Professor Andrea Bubula of Columbia University, Archil Mestvirishvili – Vice President at the National Bank of Georgia, Nino Evgenidze EPRC\’s Executive Director.
