On May 17-21, Nino Evgenidze, Executive Director at EPRC, attended the meetings in Berlin, organized in light of the German Marshall Fund’s 50th anniversary and 75th anniversary of the Marshall Plan.

Within the visit, she attended meetings with Dr. Stefan Meister, Head of Program, International Order and Democracy, German Council on Foreign Relations; Anna Kaminsky, Director of the Federal Foundation for the Study of the Communist Dictatorship in Eastern Germany; Karl-Heinz Kamp, Special Envoy of the Political Director, Federal Ministry of Defence; Dominik Mutter, Director for Security Policy, North America, United Kingdom, EFTA and Arctic Policy, Federal Foreign Office; Michael Roth, MdB (SPD) and Knut Abraham, MdB (CDU).

On May 20th, Nino Evgenidze met with President Gauck.

During the working visit, she held a meeting with the member of the European Parliament Viola von Cramon-Taubadel, where the parties discussed Georgia’s positions in the ongoing processes and assessed the bids of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova for the EU membership.
