{"id":8318,"date":"2019-04-05T19:49:17","date_gmt":"2019-04-05T19:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eprc.ge\/?post_type=news_p_type&#038;p=8318"},"modified":"2022-02-08T19:50:03","modified_gmt":"2022-02-08T19:50:03","slug":"geclose2eu-business-competition-was-announced","status":"publish","type":"news_p_type","link":"https:\/\/eprc.ge\/en\/news\/geclose2eu-business-competition-was-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"GEclose2EU Business Competition was Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On May 1, 2019, at 16:00 @ Rooms hotel Tbilisi\u00a0the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in cooperation with the Enterprise Georgia Agency organizes an information meeting to announce the call for competition for business representatives in the frameworks of\u00a0GEclose2EU\u00a0project.\u00a0 Information on the criteria and terms of the competition, activities and grant component details will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of the event, a new web platform\u00a0www.geclose2eu.info\u00a0will be presented. The companies will register electronically to participate in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The companies, operating in the sectors of ICTs, business consulting and interior design-architecture and meet the prerequisites will be invited to participate in the competition. The Applications can be submitted online from 1st\u00a0of May till 1st\u00a0of June, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Opening remarks will be made by \u00a0Molly Lien, Head of Development Cooperation of Embassy of Sweden; Nino Evgenidze, Director of Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) and Mikheil Khidureli, Director of &#8220;Produce in Georgia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meeting will be attended by business and media representatives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project\u00a0GEclose2EU\u00a0started with the support of the government of Sweden. The project is implemented by the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) in cooperation with the Agency &#8220;Enterprise Georgia&#8221;. The aim of the project is to support the small and medium businesses, increase their awareness regarding the European market and create new opportunities for internationalization.
