#StandWithUkraine<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We, the\u00a0undersigned members of\u00a0the\u00a0International Coalition for\u00a0Democratic Renewal, strongly condemn the\u00a0military invasion of\u00a0Ukraine by\u00a0Vladimir Putin’s regime. This action represents a\u00a0war\u00a0of\u00a0aggression, a\u00a0crime against humanity and\u00a0a\u00a0new\u00a0chapter in\u00a0the\u00a0struggle between autocracy and\u00a0democracy, which require the\u00a0strongest possible response of\u00a0the\u00a0international community.<\/p>\n

Ukraine needs the\u00a0support of\u00a0the\u00a0international community now\u00a0more than ever. This Russian war\u00a0of\u00a0aggression is\u00a0an\u00a0attack on\u00a0the\u00a0very fabric of\u00a0a\u00a0peaceful and\u00a0rule-based international order. Today Ukraine is\u00a0a\u00a0victim but\u00a0tomorrow it\u00a0could be\u00a0any\u00a0other country. Below are\u00a0a\u00a0few\u00a0things you\u00a0can\u00a0do\u00a0as\u00a0an\u00a0individual, organization or\u00a0country:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 \u00a0All those, who\u00a0have the\u00a0opportunity, can\u00a0support the\u00a0Ukrainian army. Here is\u00a0the\u00a0official link of\u00a0the\u00a0organization that collects money for\u00a0Ukrainian army: \u00a0https:\/\/savelife.in.ua\/en\/donate\/<\/a>. Ukrainian National Bank also opened official multinational account, with which people from all\u00a0over the\u00a0world can\u00a0donate. Please find more information here:\u00a0.
\n2.\u00a0 \u00a0Individuals can\u00a0also support protests abroad at\u00a0the\u00a0Russian embassies, against the\u00a0war\u00a0in\u00a0Ukraine. Upcoming rallies against Russian invasion of\u00a0Ukraine in\u00a0different countries can\u00a0be\u00a0found here:\u00a0https:\/\/www.stopputin.net\/<\/a>.
\n3.\u00a0 \u00a0Talk to\u00a0your governments, civil society and\u00a0media. Demand to\u00a0stay united in\u00a0support for\u00a0Ukraine and\u00a0to\u00a0encourage countries and\u00a0governments to\u00a0do\u00a0more than sanctions. Use\u00a0social media (Facebook\/Twitter\/Instagram, etc.) to\u00a0spread the\u00a0information.
\n4.\u00a0 \u00a0Verify your information and\u00a0refute the\u00a0misinformation that is\u00a0now\u00a0being spread by\u00a0Russian forces and\u00a0media. Trust only official sources\/of official Ukrainian institutions (National army, President, Ministry of\u00a0foreign affairs of\u00a0Ukraine, etc).<\/p>\n

We call on\u00a0all\u00a0democratic countries to\u00a0unite in\u00a0support of\u00a0Ukraine:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 \u00a0In addition to\u00a0financial support for\u00a0the\u00a0army, it\u00a0is\u00a0important to\u00a0provide urgent military support, including air\u00a0defense systems and\u00a0extensive support with defense equipment.
\n2.\u00a0 \u00a0Provide Ukraine with emergency economic assistance.
\n3.\u00a0 \u00a0Provide urgent humanitarian aid\u00a0and\u00a0ensure that appropriate support infrastructure is\u00a0in\u00a0place for\u00a0civilian refugees fleeing Ukraine.
\n4.\u00a0 \u00a0Impose devastating sanctions on\u00a0the\u00a0Russian Federation, Belarus, and\u00a0all\u00a0those responsible for\u00a0the\u00a0invasion. This must include sanctions on\u00a0energy exports to\u00a0democratic nations.
\n5.\u00a0 \u00a0Freeze foreign money accounts of\u00a0Russia, Russian officials and\u00a0Russian citizens related to\u00a0the\u00a0regime, and\u00a0disclose to\u00a0Russian people bank data and\u00a0intelligence about their political and\u00a0business elites.
\n6.\u00a0 \u00a0Expropriate assets and\u00a0properties of\u00a0the\u00a0Russian nationals with clear links to\u00a0the\u00a0current Russian establishment.
\n7.\u00a0 \u00a0Cut Russia off\u00a0completely from the\u00a0SWIFT global interbank payment system, as\u00a0part of\u00a0a\u00a0more comprehensive and\u00a0total campaign of\u00a0economic sanctions.
\n8.\u00a0 \u00a0Block air\u00a0space, sea\u00a0access and\u00a0ports for\u00a0Russian companies.
\n9.\u00a0 \u00a0Freeze sales of\u00a0international companies in\u00a0Russia.
\n10.\u00a0Impose personal sanctions on\u00a0Russian politicians and\u00a0oligarchs, and\u00a0former European and\u00a0US\u00a0politicians who\u00a0openly support Putin in\u00a0the\u00a0media.
\n11.\u00a0Call for\u00a0recalls of\u00a0Western diplomats from Russia and\u00a0Belarus for\u00a0consultations and\u00a0invite Russian and\u00a0Belarussian diplomats to\u00a0leave.
\n12.\u00a0Help initiate an\u00a0international criminal tribunal which will bring those responsible for\u00a0the\u00a0crime of\u00a0aggression, crimes against humanity and\u00a0war\u00a0crimes to\u00a0account.<\/p>\n

We call on\u00a0the\u00a0UN\u00a0Security Council and\u00a0the\u00a0Human Rights Council to\u00a0condemn Russia\u2019s aggression in\u00a0the\u00a0strongest terms and\u00a0remain seized of\u00a0the\u00a0matter. In\u00a0addition, we\u00a0call on\u00a0the\u00a0Security Council to\u00a0impose the\u00a0above sanctions with a\u00a0resolution based on\u00a0Chapter VII\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0UN\u00a0Charter. In\u00a0the\u00a0case of\u00a0Russia using its\u00a0veto right, we\u00a0call on\u00a0the\u00a0UN\u00a0General Assembly to\u00a0convene an\u00a0emergency meeting and\u00a0use\u00a0its\u00a0subsidiary responsibility under the\u00a0Uniting for\u00a0Peace principle to\u00a0override a\u00a0Russian veto and\u00a0impose the\u00a0above sanctions with its\u00a0authority as\u00a0the\u00a0UN\u2019s highest and\u00a0universal body. In\u00a0particular, the\u00a0UN\u00a0needs to\u00a0consider imposing a\u00a0No-Fly-Zone over Ukraine.<\/p>\n

We call on\u00a0international courts to\u00a0condemn and\u00a0adopt procedures to\u00a0sentence Putin\u2019s war\u00a0crimes against Ukraine and\u00a0on\u00a0important companies, such as\u00a0Meta (Facebook), to\u00a0ban\u00a0communication of\u00a0the\u00a0Russian government.<\/p>\n

Russia’s invasion of\u00a0Ukraine is\u00a0an\u00a0unjustifiable act\u00a0of\u00a0aggression against an\u00a0independent state that cannot go\u00a0unanswered. We\u00a0stand with Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
