The purpose of this project is to design and launch a Leadership Academy for Development (LAD) course in Georgia. EPRC in partnership with Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) and Ilia State University (ISU) Public Policy Research and Training Center (PPRTC), will offer an intensive, off-site , executive-level training program on policy development and analysis for high-level public officials and CSO leaders throughout Georgia and neighboring countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan , Moldova, Turkey and Ukraine.

Participants will benefit from lectures and interactive teaching exercises led by and accomplished team of international scholars and locally-based experts. Core LAD faculty include Roger Leeds, John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies; Francis Fukuyama, Stanford CDDRL; and Kent Weaver, Georgetown University and Brookings Institution.
Lad will bring together Georgian and foreign public and private sector leaders engaging them in discussion on the complexities of policy reform.
