Presentation of study: ‘Georgian Diaspora’

On February 14th, 2017, Economic Policy Research Center (EPRC) has presented a study on Georgian Diaspora, conducted in partnership with GIZ. The presentation took place at the Parliament of Georgia at a committee meeting on Diaspora and Caucasus issues. The main findings on the study was presented by Ms. Nino Evgenidze, the Executive Director of EPRC and Ms. Irina Guruli, the Deputy Director of EPRC. The study has been prepared based on statistical data. Three directions could be identified: (1). Direct Diaspora Investment (DDI); (2). Investments in capital markets; and (3). Knowledge-technology transfer. The presentation of the study was followed by a discussion.
