On December 5th, 2017, EPRC together with the McCain Institute for International Leadership held a presentation of David J. Kramer’s bilingual version of the book “Back to Containment: Dealing with Putin’s Regime”.
The Presentation featured a conversation with the author of the book David J. Kramer and Ambassador Daniel Fried.
In his first book, Kramer traces the rise of Vladimir Putin and the U.S.-Russia relationship over the course of the administrations of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. He argues that the Putin regime is a serious threat to the United States and the Western world and that the United States needs to develop a tougher policy of containment and pushback.
